I Got the Hook-Up is the soundtrack to No Limit's first theatrical film, I Got the Hook Up. It was released on April 7, 1998 through No Limit Records and featured production by Beats By the Pound, Bud'da and RZA. The soundtrack was a huge success, debuting at #3 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Two months after its release, it was certified platinum by the RIAA with over 1 million copies sold. The soundtrack featured the hit single also titled "I Got the Hook-Up!", which made it to #16 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #11 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks.
